| sunshine and 51 degrees! |
Spring is calling! Happily walked around the property today, because sunshine was beckoning me and I need to put together my action plan for my first plant purchase of the year: 60 Christmas trees, 10 birch, and 2 stewardias. The thought of gardening makes my heart sing! This page will be a photo journal of the gardens from March until I put the shovel and rake away in late autumn.
Early spring is quite contrary here in the Pacific Northwest! Today is a good example. It started off with pelting rain that quickly turned to a warm but blustery, sunshiny day. And as I write this, the sunshine has left and a gentle rain is falling. So, by the time I get my garden duds on, often the window of opportunity has passed by.
